He fought valiantly every step of the way and eventually died peacefully at home in the early hours of Sunday Morning, 6th May 2018. I know it was a huge comfort to him to see his family, friends, colleagues and complete strangers use ‘Team Burns’ to keep in touch, fundraise and send messages of support.
