I still to this day remember things that where said to by my own dad and Official vintage 1973 tshirt. I still am hurt by them. My daughter is only one but I still tell her every day she’s beautiful and she makes me happy. My dad always puts me down he doesn’t realize it still hurts me I have told him how I feel but he never says anything! Always accept your children the way they always love them! This is sad, but it is so true. A child can be marked for life by negative thing said to him all his young days growing up. Also by others that continue to drive those bad words into his head. I am sorry you experienced parents that didn’t encourage you or speak positively to you.

I was very fortunate, in fact, I am very fortunate because my parents were and Official vintage 1973 shirt. I wish everyone could be as lucky! This is so true, I realize a lot of people didn’t say positive things to their children because it wasn’t said to them but we can break the cycle. Build them up so no one else can tear them down. Amen, my Mom did this to us against all odds my dad was Violent, crazy and religious all in one person. It wasn’t his fault he came back from the war crazy and sick. My Mom was amazing she breathed life into her eight children we are not perfect but we have love in our hearts!
